Abstract
BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVES: Pneumonia is the most common cause of death in children under five years of age. Epidemiological factors and the disease burden differ in developing and industrialized countries. The present study is a cross sectional observational study, carried out from August 2018 to August 2020 in Hindu Rao Hospital, to assess the prevalence of congenital heart disease (CHD) in patients with pneumonia in children up to 5 years. The main objectives of the study were to study the prevalence of congestive cardiac failure (CCF) in pneumonia with and without congenital heart disease.Entities:
