Abstract
BACKGROUND: Postoperative nausea and vomiting (PONV) is one of the complications that can occur frequently in the first 24 hours postoperatively. We aimed to investigate the parameters that could predict PONV in patients who underwent thoracoscopic wedge resection for pneumothorax.Entities:

Comparison of hemogram parameters and VAS scores between and within the groups.
Continuous variables were expressed as mean ± SD and median (interquartile range). Continuous independent variables were compared with Mann Whitney U test. Continuous dependent variables were compared with Wilcoxon test. Statistically significant p-values were in bold. PONV: Postoperative nausea and vomiting; RDW: Red cell distribution; NLR: neutrophil-lymphocyte ratio; PLR: platelet-lymphocyte ratio; VAS: visual analog scale; IQR: interquartile range; SD: standard deviation.
