Abstract
Other than gastrointestinal bleeding, there are few clinical emergencies the successful management of which is so dependent on the setting of priorities. Sequential attention to resuscitation, localization, specific diagnosis, and definitive therapy at a pace proportional to the rate of blood loss results in a satisfactory outcome in most patients who present with lower gastrointestinal bleeding.Entities:
