Figure 3Estimated years of life lost (YLL, in millions) due to COVID-19 in 2020 in the USA, by age group, socio-economic status quintile of counties (1 = lowest, 5 = highest) and time period of 2020
Life expectancy at birth, e(0), in 2015–2019 and standard errors, and difference (in years) in e(0) before and after adding deaths from COVID-19 with 95% confidence interval; simulated years of life lost (YLL in millions over all ages), by time period, for the country as a whole and by socio-economic status quintile of counties in the USA
