Abstract

We present a letter to the editor in response to the article by Nikiforova et al. "Impact of A Required, Longitudinal Scholarly Project in Medical School: a Content Analysis of Medical Students' Reflections". We discuss our experiences of undertaking a similar module in our medical school and examine the authors' use of feedback in their analysis. We also present our views on the importance of feedback and the aspects that we feel maximise students experiencing with undertaking a longitudinal research project. © International Association of Medical Science Educators 2021.
