Abstract
Background: The COVID-19 pandemic is our generation's greatest global challenge to our public health system. Vaccines are considered one of the most effective tools available for preventing COVID-19 infection and its complications and sequelae. Understanding and addressing the psychological stress related to COVID-19 vaccination may promote acceptance of these vaccines.Entities:

Participants who thought the COVID-19 epidemic would end within 1 year, 1–10 years, and over 10 years or long lasting were defined as positive, neutral, and negative attitudes toward, respectively.
Figure 1The sources of psychological stress associated with COVID-19 vaccine uptake (A) at the beginning period of the COVID-19 mass vaccination (N = 34,041), and (B) after vaccination (N = 5,103).
Figure 2COVID-19 vaccine-related psychological stress levels (A) at the beginning period of the COVID-19 mass vaccination (N = 34,041), (B) before and after accessing information about vaccination (N = 29,396), (C) before and after getting vaccinated (N = 5,103) from Jan. 29 to Apr. 26, 2021. *indicated statistically significant with p < 0.05.
