Quantum of change in blood pressure (mmHg) with one unit change in hemoglobin (gm/dL) level among the community-dwelling elderly study participants without self-reported chronic morbidity (Group 1) and with self-reported chronic morbidity (Group 2) in West Bengal, India, 2021.
Dependent variables are systolic blood pressure (SBP), diastolic blood pressure (DBP), pulse pressure (PP), and mean arterial pressure (MAP); the independent variable is hemoglobin (Hb) level. The model was adjusted for age, sex, and body mass index.
*The changes in SBP (p = 0.36), DBP (p = 0.11), PP (p = 0.88), and MAP (p = 0.14) across groups were insignificant.
