Abstract
BACKGROUND: Surgical site complications (SSCs) are an important source of morbidity after kidney transplantation. We assessed the incidence, risk factors, outcomes and economic impact of SSCs in a large, diverse population of kidney transplant recipients.Entities:

Thirty-six patients were excluded from the cohort since they were lost to follow-up or experienced graft failure during the first 30 days after transplantation, or did not receive induction immunosuppression.
