Abstract
Therapist-patient sexual intimacy has emerged as a major issue. This article discusses the legal and ethical prohibitions, the accumulation of research regarding the prevalence and consequences of therapist-patient sex, and the implications for therapists, particularly those treating patients who have been sexually intimate with a previous therapist.Entities:
