Abstract
A review of 103 surgically closed pressure sores shows unsatisfactory results. Following a critical analysis of the various complications several alterations in the surgical treatment are suggested. The improvements include a more rational antibiotic treatment, two-stage operations, different flaps and the use of fibrin sealant.Mesh：
