To the editor, The outbreak of the novel coronavirus pneumonia has had a great impact on the life safety of our people and social production activities. When the epidemic was raging, every frontline medical staff used their lives to fulfill their medical beliefs. They faced difficulties, regardless of remuneration, life or death. Nursing is a process of facilitation that involves mutual interactive communication toward an individual, family, community, and system and is directed toward further development. The purpose of integrated nursing care is strengthening medical cooperation and improving the nursing effect. The integrated nursing care refers to working together on the premise of certain professional knowledge and ability, trusting to realize the complementation of medical knowledge and skills, creating a good treatment environment for patients as soon as possible. Through the integrated nursing care, medical staff jointly monitor the patient's condition, timely informed of the changes in the condition and adjust the treatment plan, could effectively reduce the occurrence of complications, shorten the course of disease. When the nurse's relationship is one of mutuality with the doctor there is a synchronous process of the nurse supporting the medical treatment in supporting the new medical technology development. The times also put forward higher requirements for us to train medical talents. Nursing stendents need to master expertise as soon as possible during their internship so that they can adapt to the work quickly. Between January 2020 and January 2021, we selected 62 students who accept clinical nursing teaching, The students in the study were divided into two groups, one received the traditional teaching as a control (GroupⅠ)(n = 31), and the other received the integrated nursing teaching (GroupⅡ)(n = 31). All students need to sign informed consent. The students who were absent from teaching or had nursing teaching experience were ruled out. The difference between the two groups in the confidence in the face of complex work was not statistically significant. However, understanding of theoretical knowledge in the group I were statistically lower than those in the group Ⅱ(P < 0.01). The scores of manipulative skill in the group Ⅱ was statistically higher than that in the group I(P < 0.01). The level of coordination proficiency in group Ⅱ were higher than the group I(P < 0.01). The scores of test in group Ⅱ were higher than the group I(84 ± 5.7vs 95 ± 6.1 scores, P < 0.01) (Table 1 ).
Table 1

Comparison of teaching effects between two groups.

Group I (n = 31)Group Ⅱ (n = 31)
Confidence in the face of complex71.8 ± 6.573.8 ± 6.7
Understanding of theoretical knowledge83 ± 2.187 ± 3.4
Scores of manipulative skill81 ± 5.895 ± 4.7
Level of coordination proficiency61 ± 3.978 ± 4.1
Test scores78 ± 4.187 ± 3.6
Comparison of teaching effects between two groups. In conclusion, integrated nursing care teaching model can improve the quality of teaching. Integrated nursing care can strengthen medical cooperation, which will strength the confidence of students when they faced any difficulties.
