Abstract
The gut microbiomes of rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss) reared at 16° and 22 °C were determined using formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded tissues (FFPE) and compared to fresh frozen tissue. The data revealed microbiomes could be successfully determined using FFPE tissue opening a new horizon in studying intestinal microbiota using archived histological samples.Entities:
