Abstract
95 Tuebinger immediate implants--four different types--were clinically tested. The longest time of observation was 2 1/2 years. Of the type which so far has been shown to be the best (54 implants), one was lost. The quota of losses was higher in the other types. Preservation depends on the shape of the implant head and particularly on the size of the lacuna. Best results were achieved by the 54 implants with a lacuna radius of 100 micron. Smaller lacunae increase the failure rate.Entities:
