Abstract
A patient diagnosed as having acute lymphoblastic leukemia (L2) relapsed 4 months later and was found to have morphologic and immunologic evidence of a biphenotypic hybrid acute leukemia. Chromosome analysis at relapse showed two abnormal clones, one with marked hypodiploidy and the other with exactly double the hypodiploid clone. It is considered that this is an example of a hybrid lymphoblastic/nonlymphoblastic leukemia with unique karyotype.Entities:
