Abstract
We describe 2 patients in whom a sustained remission of longstanding rheumatoid arthritis occurred with treatment for acute myelogenous leukemia (cytosine arabinoside, daunorubicin, and m-AMSA), even though both illnesses had been refractory to therapy with standard disease-modifying agents. These 2 patients represent the first successful treatment of rheumatoid disease using such an approach.Entities:
