Abstract
A patient is presented who developed a gross maxillary deformity resulting from thalassaemia major. An outline of the general condition is presented and the operative measures used to correct this particular case are described. It is interesting to note that although this was done in rather primitive conditions, the patient achieved a satisfactory aesthetic and functional result.Entities:
