The short article titled “Risk Assessment of Ambient Air Pollutants and Health Impact around Fuel Stations in Urban Cities of KSA” published in International Journal of Preventive Medicine, on page 91, Volume 12, Issue 8, 2021,[1] is being retracted because of ethical concerns found in the article and there is a substantial content overlap with another article titled “Assessment of BTEX concentration around fuel station in Eastern Province Kingdom of Saudi Arabia” published in International Journal of Environmental Health Engineering, on page 2, Volume 10, 2021.[2] Plagiarism, fabrication, unethical or redundant publication violates the editorial policy of International Journal of Preventive Medicine, which follows best practice guidelines given by the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE) and Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) mentioned on the Information for Authors and as codified in the signed statements made by the authors regarding the copyright of their work.
