Focal lymphocytic infiltrates of salivary glands are not confined to Sjögren's syndrome.

G Lindahl, E Hedfors.

Abstract

Focal periductal lymphocytic infiltrates of lip salivary glands (LSGs), since long considered a diagnostic hallmark of Sjögren's syndrome (SS), were found in a high proportion of patients with various connective tissue diseases, as well as in myasthenia gravis, lacking symptoms and signs of SS.
