Abstract
PROBLEM: The COVID-19 pandemic is associated with psychological distress. Decreased moderate-vigorous physical activity (MVPA) and increased sedentary time may be exacerbating pandemic-related symptoms of anxiety and depression, but existing studies exploring these associations are almost entirely cross-sectional.Entities:

Associations with psychological distress (total PHQ-4 score categories: normal, mild, moderate, severe) were examined with ordinal logistic regression models b Adjusted for age and sex.
Additionally adjusted for sleep quality, risk of poor COVID outcome, employment stress score, financial stress score, and work-life balance score.
Associations with anxiety and depression symptoms (low/high) were examined with logistic regression.

Associations with psychological distress (total PHQ-4 score categories: normal, mild, moderate, severe) were examined with ordinal logistic regression models b Adjusted for age and sex.
Additionally adjusted for sleep quality, risk of poor COVID outcome, life stress variables.
Additionally adjusted for 2018 sedentary time (continuous).
Associations with anxiety and depression symptoms (low/high) were examined with logistic regression.
