Erosive lichen planus of the tongue treated by cryosurgery.

Abstract

Lichen planus is usually found by routine examination and is seldom symptomatic. In the more extreme forms, the patient will seek some form of treatment to alleviate the painful symptoms. In the present case, extensive lingual erosive lichen planus was successfully treated with cryosurgery.
