Fractures of the zygomatic complex.

R Chuong, L B Kaban.

Abstract

In 1973 methods for diagnosing and treating zygomatic complex fractures were reviewed, with emphasis on the lateral eyebrow incision for access to the zygomaticofrontal region. The following clinical update reviews alternative approaches to the zygomatic complex (coronal incision, upper eyelid incision), and current concepts of treatment for acute injuries and late deformities secondary to malunion.
