Abstract
A patient with steatocystoma multiplex (SM) with severe inflammation was treated with oral isotretinoin. Inflamed cysts markedly improved with treatment. However, after eight weeks of therapy, many pre-existing cysts rapidly enlarged and new cysts occurred. Therapy was then discontinued. Isotretinoin may have exacerbated or worsened this condition.Entities:
