Abstract
Transcriptome analyses are widely performed, but the analysis of organelle genome expression is often overlooked. In this chapter, we describe three methods to analyse the accumulation, splicing, editing and processing of plant mitochondrial transcript expression: a classical RT-qPCR assay, an RNA-Seq approach with its bioinformatical and statistical analysis pipeline, as well as a useful complementary technique, the Northern-blot analysis, using short biotinylated oligonucleotides as probes.Entities:
