The percentage of contractile material for the salineinjected rabbits was 93 ± 5% (top left). Following onabotulinumtoxin-A (BoNT-A) injection, there was a significant reduction in contractile material to 75 ± 16% (middle left) and 85 ± 4% (bottom left) for the BoNT-A and BoNT-A+HMB group rabbits, respectively. There was no difference in the percentage of contractile material for the contralateral non-injected musculature across groups. Black bars indicate 100 μM in the panels
