Abstract
The procedure for diagnostic shoulder arthroscopy and proper positioning of operative portals are discussed. The superior medial portal approach to the shoulder is described. Conditions visualized by arthroscopy include the following: glenoid labrum tears, synovitis, loose bodies, instabilities, adhesive capsulitis, rotator cuff lesions, and extra-articular decompressions.Entities:
