Abstract
Current models for linkage and segregation analysis do not allow for many of the different ways in which the environment may affect risk for a psychiatric disorder. A variety of mechanisms for the contribution of the environment and the correlation and interaction of environment effects with genetic differences are described. The approach to including these effects in models for segregation and linkage is outlined.Entities:
