Abstract
BACKGROUND: Atrioventricular nodal re-entrant tachycardia is the most common type of paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia. We sought to assess whether important anatomic factors, such as the location of the slow pathway, proximity to the bundle of His, and coronary sinus ostium dimensions, varied with patient age, and whether these factors had an impact on procedural duration, acute success, and complications.Entities:

Figure 1Electroanatomic map of the septum of the right atrium showing the locations of the bundle of His (yellow), the slow pathway (SP in red), the coronary sinus (CS), and the measurements made between these anatomic locations, including (a) the distance from the SP to the bundle of His, (b) the distance from the SP to to the CS ostium, and (c) the maximum diameter of the CS ostium.
