Biliary Anatomy.

Jonathan A Aguiar1, Ahsun Riaz1, Bartley Thornburg1.

Abstract

The hepatobiliary system is known to have high anatomic variability, as studies have shown variant rates of over 40% among individuals. This review will describe biliary anatomy and the most common anatomic variants, knowledge of which is critical to ensuring safe and effective biliary interventions. Thieme. All rights reserved.
