Figure 1Polygon graph showing the number of inpatient department admissions (dotted line) and number of surgeries (solid line) performed under neurosurgery over the last year. Work was significantly affected, especially at the beginning of the pandemic, when the lockdown was announced (March 25, 2020, to May 31, 2020) and at the peak of the first wave of pandemic (September 2020). The horizontal dotted and solid lines highlight the monthly average in 2019 for IPD admissions (82.1) and number of surgeries performed (53.75), respectively.
