Abstract
BACKGROUND: Corona virus disease 2019 (Covid-19) has high infectivity and mortality rate. Covid-19 patients can suddenly deteriorate and develop life threatening complications. Hence, there is a need to identify laboratory biomarkers in order to categorize high risk patients. The main purpose of the study is to investigate the role and correlation of laboratory parameters such as total leucocyte count (TLC), absolute lymphocyte count, platelet count, C-Reactive Proteins (CRP), serum ferritin, serum lactate dehydrogenase (LDH), serum procalcitonin and D-dimer in severe and non-severe Covid-19 patients.Entities:
