Abstract
Two cases of dystrophic intracranial calcification due to arteriovenous malformations (AVM) are reported. The characteristic distribution is in the watershed areas and away from the AVM. Deposition of calcium on ischaemic brain tissues as a result of 'cerebral steal' by the AVM is the probable pathogenetic mechanism.Entities:
