Abstract
Despite steroid therapy and total parenteral nutrition, a patient with severe ulcerative colitis developed a colon perforation with peritonitis that necessitated colectomy at 28 weeks' gestation. The pregnancy was left intact; the postoperative vaginal delivery was uneventful.Entities:
