M Rohatgi1, D K Gupta.

Abstract

A case of isolated complete transection and avulsion of common bile duct following nonpenetrating bicycle handlebar injury is reported due to rarity of this lesion. A review of literature, possible mechanism of injury, and available mode of diagnosis and treatment are discussed.
