Abstract
INTRODUCTION: all pregnant women are at potential risk of obstetric complications; majority of which can be treated if appropriate care is accessed promptly. A shift in focus to quality of care has the potential to unlock significant returns for every mother and newborn to end preventable maternal and infant deaths.
