Abstract

A 10-year-old boy with chronic myelocytic leukemia was found to have a new complex Philadelphia translocation. All of the bone marrow cells and the peripheral blood cells had a rearrangement of a five-way translocation. t(4;18;13;9;22)(q12;q11.2;q14;q34;q11.2). The patient eventually died in blast crisis 6 years, 9 months later.
