Abstract
Allergic acute coronary syndrome, Kounis syndrome, is a rare cause of ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction triggered by an allergic reaction to a drug or environmental allergen, resulting in atheromatous plaque rupture or coronary artery vasospasm.
