Abstract

Previous epidemiologic studies on atopic dermatitis (AD) indicate a large variation (0.3-17.6%) in the prevalence of adult AD, depending on differences in the methodology, AD definitions and study population1,2 . Here, we conducted a large cross-sectional study to firstly estimate the prevalence of adult AD in the Dutch general population, with a focus on moderate to severe AD.
