Abstract
•Ectopic molar pregnancies are a rare gynecological occurrence.•Gestational trophoblastic neoplasia (GTN) can arise following an ectopic molar pregnancy.•Histopathology should be sought and hCG levels should be monitored after surgical treatment of ectopic pregnancies.•The combination of histopathology and serum hCG is gold standard for diagnosis of molar pregnancy and GTN.Entities:
