Abstract
Among the various causes of leukocoria in a newborn, intrauterine ocular trauma following amniocentesis is not included. We describe a three-day-old girl whose leukocoria of the left eye resulted from traction retinal detachment, caused by the perforation of the globe during diagnostic amniocentesis.Entities:
