Abstract
Some HIV-infection diagnostic guidelines and health care providers still rely on the ELISA-Western blot diagnostic algorithm. We present a near misdiagnosis case with discordant test results and a lack of proper counseling. We point out the need for an assertive update of health care providers on diagnostic HIV-tests.Entities:
