Abstract
Macrophages are the major non-neoplastic infiltrates in the glioblastoma microenvironment. In this issue of Cancer Cell, Hara et al. (2021) demonstrate that macrophages induce a transition of glioblastoma cells into the mesenchymal-like cellular state associated with an increased mesenchymal program in macrophages themselves and enhanced cytotoxicity of T cells.Entities:
