Abstract
We report a large family with leiomyomatosis cutis et uteri. Sixty-four percent of the females were involved; 18% had only uterine myomas, 10% had only cutaneous piloleiomyomas, and 36% had both. Five patients (45%) had to have an hysterectomy before age 35. Management of female patients having leiomyomatosis cutis should include a periodical gynecological examination in order to rule out the presence of uterine myomas.Entities:
