Abstract
Adalimumab is the only approved biological therapy for the debilitating skin condition Hidradenitis suppurativa HS. Although several clinical trials, as well as real-world studies, support its efficacy at dosages of 40 mg/week or 80 mg/2nd week1-3 , a subgroup of patients may show insufficient disease control or a progressive loss of response with time. Dosage intensification is an effective strategy in other chronic inflammatory diseases, such as Crohn's disease (CD), rheumatoid arthritis or psoriasis, but evidence regarding HS is scant4 . This study analyzes effectiveness and safety of adalimumab intensification in patients with moderate-severe HS of a multicenter cohort. This article is protected by copyright.
