Abstract
AIMS: Childhood trauma is associated with an elevated risk for psychosis, but the psychological mechanisms involved remain largely unclear. This study aimed to investigate emotional and psychotic stress reactivity in daily life as a putative mechanism linking childhood trauma and clinical outcomes in individuals at ultra-high-risk (UHR) for psychosis.Entities:

Note: Results adjusted for age, gender, ethnicity, centre, comorbid major depressive and anxiety disorders and time to follow-up. Childhood trauma assessed with the CTQ. Illness severity assessed with the Clinical Global Impression Scale (CGI). Level of functioning assessed with the Global Assessment of Functioning Scale (GAF). Unusual thought content, perceptual abnormalities, anxiety and tolerance to normal stress assessed with the Comprehensive Assessment of At Risk Mental State (CAARMS).
