Abstract
Infants in the neonatal intensive care unit are at risk of life-threatening organ dysfunction, but few objective tools with utility exist. In a multicenter cohort of 20 152 infants, we show the neonatal sequential organ failure assessment score had good-to-excellent discrimination of mortality across centers, birth weights, and time points after admission.Entities:
