Abstract
It has been demonstrated that the nonsteroidal antiinflammatory agent azapropazone (Prolixan) as well as its principal 8-hydroxy-metabolite have distinct xanthine oxidase inhibitory activity. The pharmacological spectrum of this compound has thus shown an interesting extension.Entities:
