The P‐value evaluates the differences among the without carpal tunnel syndrome and without diabetic polyneuropathy (CTS−DPN−) group, without carpal tunnel syndrome and with diabetic polyneuropathy (CTS−DPN+) group, with carpal tunnel syndrome and without diabetic polyneuropathy (CTS+DPN−) group, and with carpal tunnel syndrome and with diabetic polyneuropathy (CTS+DPN+) group. The presence of hypertension or coronary heart disease was determined by the history provided by the patient without further testing.
