Abstract
Five new phenylspirodrimanes, stachybomycins A - E (1-5), together with four known compounds (6-9), were isolated from the marine-derived fungus Stachybotrys sp. SCSIO 40434. Their structures were elucidated by comprehensive spectroscopic analyses of NMR and HRESIMS. The absolute configuration of 1 was confirmed by single crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. Compounds 5 and 7 showed moderate antibacterial activities against Micrococcus luteus, Staphylococcus aureus and methicillin resistant Staphylococcus aureus with minimal inhibition concentration (MIC) values of 8, 16 and 16 μg mL-1, respectively.Entities:
