Abstract
Teledermatology has been leveraged during the COVID-19 pandemic as a means of adopting novel ways to treat patients while reducing the risk of viral transmission. Although teledermatology offers benefits related to patient convenience and improved access to care, key challenges in the areas of reimbursement, licensure, and diagnostic accuracy remain.
