Primer 3 and 4 are nested primers for QP method. Two single nucleotide polymorphisms (rs1136743 and rs1136747) associated to SAA1 genotypes are framed in black boxes, which are identified by two QPs respectively. The QP1 was designed to be perfectly complementary to the thymine deoxynucleotide at rs1136743, and the QP2 was designed to be perfectly complementary to the thymine deoxynucleotide at rs1136747.
